Individuals with a disability or chronic health condition who work in an agricultural setting face challenges that can impact their productivity, mental or physical health, and quality of life. While the term "disability" often brings to mind conditions such as spinal cord injuries and amputations, the Missouri AgrAbility Project addresses not only these but also many other conditions, such as arthritis, back impairments, and behavioral health issues. In Missouri, those eligible for AgrAbility services may have any type of disability – physical, cognitive, or illness-related, for example:
