This project brought to light some problems and solutions to help Mrs. Borman access different areas of the dairy far operation. The areas of concern included the milking parlor, farm equipment, and general farmstead. The objectives are to provide solutions to make movement and participation in the daily operation easier and more enjoyable for Mrs. Borman. Fall 1998.

Increased Accessibility Garden

Dr. Marilyn Sanford has requested the assistance of the design team in remodeling her residence. She is interested in making her home more accessible for a person using a wheelchair. The goal of the design team is to make the landscaping around the home available for use by a person using a wheelchair. The solution developed by the team is to incorporate raised bed vegetable and flower gardens into the desired remodeling plan. Winter 2002.
