Bedding (Sheets, Comforters, Blankets)Eliminating dust mites from bedding materials is relatively simple. Items should be washed every 10-14 days in hot (>130 F) water. Washing in hot water kills dust mites and removes the allergen. Down filled comforters and quilts should not be used in the bedroom of a person allergic to dust mites. | Mattress and Box Springs | Pillows | Bedding | Curtains | Clothing | Knick-Knacks | Toys/Stuffed Animals | Pets | Carpet | Humidity | | Living Room || Kitchen || Bed Room || Bath Room || Garage || Basement || Attic || Home | |
