Creating a Healthier Home

Dishwasher

Dishwashers emit moisture in the kitchen area. In addition, small amounts of detergent released in droplets in the air may be irritating to individuals with asthma and allergies. Running an exhaust fan, vented to the outside, will help reduce moisture accumulation while the appliance is running.
